System requirements

There are no official PC requirements. This is what we can say without inventing them.

What the console hardware implies

The PS5 and Xbox Series X are roughly comparable to a mid-range PC of their generation. That gives you a floor, not a spec sheet. Treat every number derived from it as approximate, because it comes from hardware comparison and not from Rockstar.

Why leaked requirement charts are fabricated

No official source exists. So any table naming an exact CPU and GPU was written by someone with no information, usually to rank for this search. We will not print one, and you should not buy hardware against one.

What happens next

When Rockstar publishes the requirements, the real table replaces the empty one below, with a link to the source and the date we checked it. The email list gets it the same day. Nothing goes in that table before then.

FAQ

Straight answers, including the ones that are "unknown".

Is GTA 6 coming to PC?+

Not announced. Rockstar has confirmed PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Previous Rockstar titles of this scale reached PC eventually, but that is history, not a commitment.

When will GTA 6 be released on PC?+

Unknown. No PC date exists. Any site showing you one invented it.

Will GTA 6 be on Steam, Epic, or the Rockstar launcher?+

Not announced. No storefront has listed a PC version.

Can I pre-order GTA 6 for PC?+

No. There is no PC version to pre-order on any legitimate storefront.

What are the GTA 6 PC system requirements?+

Not published. Rockstar has released no minimum or recommended specifications. Any table naming exact CPU and GPU models is fabricated.

Will my current PC run GTA 6?+

Unanswerable today. Without official requirements, any claim about your specific machine is a guess.

Is GTA 6 coming to PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch?+

No. The announced platforms are PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, releasing November 19, 2026.

Are sites selling GTA 6 PC keys legitimate?+

No. There is no PC version, so there are no PC keys. Anything sold as one is fraud.

Why does Rockstar release on console first?+

A single fixed hardware target is faster to finish and certify than the whole PC market. Rockstar has shipped this way since Grand Theft Auto IV. A PC version comes later, when it comes at all.

Is this site affiliated with Rockstar?+

No. gta6pc.net is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
